The flat elastic waistband doesn't dig in at all, even after a full day at the beach. The bagged out seams sit smooth under my sundress, no weird ridges showing through.

I wore these all day at the lake and never once had to adjust them, which says a lot for a swim bottom with a thin elastic waist. The brief to mid rear coverage is just right, not too cheeky but still feels barely there. Fully lined too, so no worries about it going sheer when wet.
