I was worried the high waist would dig in, but the flat elastic band sits smooth all day. It genuinely holds everything in like shape wear without feeling tight, and the rear coverage is exactly what I wanted.

I was skeptical about the "shapewear" claim, but the metallic knit actually smooths everything out without feeling tight. The flat elastic waistband doesn't dig in at all, which is usually my problem with high waisted bottoms. Wore it to a pool party and stayed comfortable the whole time.

The metallic knit really does smooth everything out, and the flat elastic stayed put all day without digging in. My only gripe is the rear coverage is a touch briefer than I expected, but the shaping makes up for it.
